BOTOX FAQ

Will I experience bruising after Botox treatment?

While it is uncommon with Botox injections, you'll reduce your chance of bruising by avoiding alcohol, multivitamins, blood thinners and anticoagulants like aspirin prior to treatment.

When will I see results?

While this varies by individual, most people begin to see results between five to ten days after getting Botox. Max effect is 14 days from treatment!

Why do I have small bumps on my skin?

Don't freak out! These are completely normal and should resolve within 30 minutes of injection. If not, try icing them.

My head hurts after treatment, is this normal?

Absolutely. About 10% of people get headaches after injections, and we advise you to take Advil or Tylenol to ease the pain.

FILLER FAQ

How does lip filler work?

Our nurse will use a syringe to inject your lips with Volbella or Vollure. This can be used to increase volume in the upper and/or lower lip, along with lifting the corners, adding smoothness, or increasing symmetry. Your desired outcome will be discussed at the consultation to help the nurse determine filler placement, and get the ideal results.

What if I just want a subtle enhancement?

That’s exactly what Kara specializes in! Her half syringe treatment provides a subtle lip boost and enhancement that still makes all the difference in your appearance.

Will I experience side effects after lip filler?

You may experience a bit of swelling and/or a minor dull pain within the first 24 hours, which should both fade within a few days.

When will I see the results of my lip filler?

Since the filler is injected directly into your lips, you’ll see a difference almost immediately after your appointment. It may take a few days, or up to a week, for the filler to settle and create the finalized result - depending on the individual.
