HOW DO I GET THE BEST RESULTS?
Pre-Tan
-
Bring dark, loose fitting clothing to wear after each airbrush tan application.
-
Waxing or shaving should be done approximately 24 hours before your scheduled airbrush tan application.
-
The day before scheduled appointment, give yourself a good all-over polish. It is important to apply a generous amount of moisturizer the night before your appointment to achieve silky skin. The most common cause of a patchy tan is dry skin, therefore it is crucial to apply a substantial amount of moisturizer the night before to problem areas, specifically the wrists, hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
-
If your appointment falls on a rainy day or a day with forecasted rain, please wear dark clothing that to your entire body. Bring an umbrella for extra protection.
Post-Tan
-
After the airbrush tan applied has been applied, avoid washing your hands for as long as possible in the development time. Use a waterless hand sanitizer or wipes instead.
-
Once the airbrush tan has been on the skin for the recommended amount of time (we suggest a minimum of 6 to 8 hours with our classic solution and a minimum of 1 to 3 hours with our express solution) then you may shower. The natural-looking golden color tan that remains after showering should last for 3 to 7 days, depending on your lifestyle and care of the tan.
-
After showering, pat dry with the towel, do not rub the skin.
-
Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating during the development time (the first 6 to 8 hours after application).
-
Do not exfoliate at any time during the length of the tan.
-
The hands and face will fade quicker than the rest of the body. Please ask your therapist for available products to extend the life of your airbrush tan.
-
Remember to moisturize to prolong the appearance of the airbrush tan. Ask your therapist about our special ingredient moisturizer!
